Experienced Dental Team

Led by founder Dr. Nana Dickson with 15+ years of experience (Howard University, 2011), our team also includes Dr. Floyd (Harvard residency) and Dr. Henderson (VCU + Harlem Hospital) — three dentists bringing complementary training across general, complex, and special-needs care.

Family Dentistry

From a child's first cleaning to senior care, we welcome patients of every age. Dr. Floyd has specific experience with children, medically complex patients, and individuals with special needs.

You'll meet Dr. Dickson, Dr. Floyd, or Dr. Henderson personally. We'll review your health history, take digital X-rays, examine your teeth and gums — and listen to anything on your mind.

A Clear, Honest Treatment Plan

You'll leave with a personalized plan — what's needed, what can wait, and exactly what it will cost. We verify your insurance, review the In-House Savings Plan if helpful, and never pressure a decision.

Cleaning & Ongoing Care

Most new patients also receive a professional cleaning during their first visit. From there, we'll see you for regular check-ups — the same friendly team, every time.

Dr. Dickson is the founder of Allegra Dental Center. After graduating from the University of Oregon Medical School and completing her dental education at Howard University, she finished her general practice residency at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington, D.C. Originally from Montreal and Vancouver, she speaks both English and French. Dr. Dickson built this practice around comfort, education, and lasting positive dental experiences — especially for patients who find the dentist daunting.

Her training emphasized a multidisciplinary approach to dentistry, and she has extensive experience working with children, medically complex patients, and individuals with special needs.
